These terms apply when you use mikibrowntech.com or hire Mikibrown Tech ("we", "us") for web development, video editing, video branding, promotional video or graphic design work. By using the site or accepting a quote from us, you agree to these terms.
1. Our services
We provide the services described on this website. The exact work, price and timeline for each project are set out in the quote or proposal we send you. If anything in a quote differs from these terms, the quote applies for that project.
2. Quotes and payment
- Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
- We may ask for a deposit before work starts. The amount and payment schedule will be shown on your quote or invoice.
- The balance is due on completion, before final files are handed over or a website is moved to your own hosting.
- Work may be paused if a payment is overdue.
3. Revisions
Each project includes the number of revision rounds stated in your quote. A revision is a change to work we have already delivered. New features, new scenes or a change of direction after approval count as extra work and will be quoted separately.
4. Your content and approvals
You are responsible for the text, images, logos, footage and other materials you give us, and for having the right to use them. Delays in sending content or feedback may move the delivery date. Once you approve a stage of the work, later changes to that stage may be charged as extra work.
5. Ownership and usage rights
- When the project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables we created for you, such as your logo files, final video files and website design.
- Stock footage, music, fonts and images we license for your project stay the property of their owners. You may use them as part of the delivered work under the terms of those licences.
- Draft concepts that you did not choose remain ours.
- Unless you ask us not to in writing, we may show the finished work in our portfolio and on social media.
6. Timelines
We will give you an estimated delivery date and do our best to meet it. Dates depend on receiving your content, feedback and payments on time.
7. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel a project at any time by writing to us. You will be charged for the work completed up to that point. Deposits cover time already booked for your project and are not refundable once work has started. If we cannot complete a project, we will refund any payment for work not yet done.
8. Websites, hosting and third-party services
Websites often depend on services such as hosting providers, domain registrars, email providers and video platforms. Those services have their own terms and fees, and we are not responsible for their outages or changes. After handover, keeping your hosting, domain and email subscriptions active is your responsibility unless we have agreed a maintenance plan.
9. Orders placed on Fiverr
If you hire us through Fiverr, Fiverr's terms of service apply to that order, including payments, revisions and refunds.
10. Limitation of liability
We take care with all our work, but we cannot guarantee specific business results such as sales, rankings or views. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project.
11. Use of this website
You may browse this site and share links to it. Please do not copy our content, portfolio images or videos for commercial use without our permission.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
